i have the 2006 vw touareg - how do you remove the ...

i have the 2006 vw touareg - how do you remove the headlight assembly?i can un-screw the 6mm shaft -and that moves the assembly about 2" but i can not figure out how to get the assembly past the plastic ''safety tab''- what is the trick?

Look at the picture below, note the hole in fender rail next to first bolt. Reach straight down with long screwdriver at slight angle toward engine. You will feel the spring catch move up and down, depress while sliding light out. Catch is shown in photo near inside edge of light toward rear.
